Hey, i don't really know how to start one of these since i never written a blog entry before or a diary entry to be honest, but i guess i'll start with some information about myself. My name is Callum Jack Pettit, i'm 20 years old and i come from Skegness, Lincolnshire. I studied Creative Media Production at Lincoln College and have been working as a Barman for the last 2 years at Holiday centre. Last Year i decided that i wanted to continue in my pursuit of one day becoming a Film Director, which lead me here, Sheffield Hallam University. 

I've been in Sheffield for nearly a month now and have loved every second of it, the culture, the people, the night life, its so different to anything i've done before, having spent the majority of my life living in a small seaside town, the concept of living in a big thriving city was a big jump for me, but i'm very glad i choose too and i'm really looking forward too getting stuck into my course. 

Film has always been a subject that has appealed to me and from a young age i loved watching films and going to the cinema as often as possible. The prospect that one day, something that i've directed could possibly be watched by thousands, maybe millions is amazing and fingers crossed one day that will happen but for now i've been Ron Burgundy.... i mean Callum Pettit, you stay classy, Planet Earth.
